WHAT IS IT?

This is something I have become very proud of, a tool that I developed, and I soon hope to teach widely. I am a child of the Ancestors, the ones who stand by the River. I am a voice and a Guardian, but my journey was not an easy one. In this era, we are all born in displacement, scrambling for a piece of belonging and scrapping every barrel to be part of something or someone.  Under the gentrification and the appropriation, the invasions and the historical oppression, there are roads of gold that can lead you to your lands, your rituals, what belongs to you. But it needs YOU to find it.  

In history, especially OUR history, resistance and resilience has come in forms of stories, moments spent with elders or away from them.  It starts with an in-depth interview were I try to recover about your past, not simply who you are, but what created your history and beliefs of today. I want to know about your dreams, I want to know about your lands or the lack of. I want to know about that detail you remember. I want to know about that smell that makes you feel at home, but you don't know why because you don't have a home.  
I then cross research between what's left and what was erased and assimilated. I help you create rituals and spiritual routines that help you find YOUR best way to connect with your Ancestral spirits, their roots and their land, and then we start training. You will need to commit to communicate with yourself, your intuition, your spirits as much as possible. I will guide while you navigate lies, deception and erasure. 

What if my past is unknown? What if the connection are lost? Before asking for blessing to the Orishas to start my Journey as an Aborisha, I asked my Ancestors why they delivered me to a tradition that -I thought- did not belong to me or my lineage. They simply told me “You are the Last of Ours and the First of Yours”. If your ancestral roots are severed by force or by necessity, remember that by taking the step to research about YOU, you are rooting your existence in your very sense. We belong to ourselves and one day we will be Ancestors. This research will help you find the tools to earth yourself in a practice that starts from you, following everywhere you might decide to move/be/live. We will engage with the land that you call home, the memories that warm your heart and we will create a foundation for you to start your new lineage, while also opening in safety to your unknown Ancestors.
